chucksu 08-28-2004, 02:55 AM Is there any way to just get the muffler? or is it only a axel back set up?
az_pinoy 08-28-2004, 03:13 AM Is there any way to just get the muffler? or is it only a axel back set up?

elzy0000 08-28-2004, 04:28 PM thanks JC... you can check it out this weekend
VividRacing 08-30-2004, 06:49 PM Tyler, I hope you are running it with out the silencer. This has got to be the easiest exhaust to install. It only takes like 5-10 minutes.
elzy0000 08-30-2004, 11:05 PM no silencer at all...
az_pinoy 09-01-2004, 04:34 AM man i heard this exhaust over the weekend and i must say it sounded awesome  ...really deep and nice tone 8)
JC
VividRacing 09-08-2004, 05:18 PM Hey Tyler, does it still sound the same or has the tone changed since breaking it in.
mikochu 09-08-2004, 05:28 PM that sounds real toight!
little_one_der 09-08-2004, 05:51 PM That's hot! That is super hot! IMHO, all exhaust companies should add video to their sites to show you how their systems generaly sound.
humpty111 09-10-2004, 04:46 AM I bought one off of Ebay so it goes on this weekend mine came with the silencer but I don't think I will leave it on for too long. I heard it on another car and it sounded like a lawn mower with a cold. thanks for the pictures I was wondering what it would look like on it. :D
LowProMofo 09-10-2004, 04:58 AM Sounds damn good!!
Al-Truistic 09-10-2004, 04:27 PM Hey guys, the exhaust sounds great! Does it use all the factory hook-ups for the axle back? How big is the piping?
the_saint 09-10-2004, 04:49 PM I have a couple of questions, how does it sound inside? Does it resonate real bad or anything? Also, is it angled ever so slightly? The first pic looks like it is, but I thought that it might just be the way the pic way taken since the rest of the shots look fairly straight.
Looks good 8)
VividRacing 09-13-2004, 10:24 PM It is straight, not angled. Inside it doesn't resonate, but I only rode in the car for a quick run from down the street to make the video. It is very easy to install took us about 10 minutes with a lift. Uses the factory mounts.

What's the point of the resonator, if you give an option to have it or not? Just to make it more quite? :?:
Iknow the exhaust is pretty costly, but I haven't found an exact price yet. :(
Maybe you could IM me? AIM:underESTIMATEDex
Sounds good!
Thanx,
Dave
Munch 09-26-2004, 01:53 PM  Deep sounding exhaust.
jansenspop 09-26-2004, 04:36 PM How much is this exhaust? I read on Mackin.com or something but it said it was a cat back? Is it a cat back or axle back? How much for shipping?
chucksu 09-26-2004, 08:07 PM How much is this exhaust? I read on Mackin.com or something but it said it was a cat back? Is it a cat back or axle back? How much for shipping?
Its a axel back. Not sure of shipping & cost from www.vividracing.com is ~$350
glen619 11-07-2005, 08:05 PM It is pretty loud. I just installed one on my xB last weekend. I stuck the silencer in it. Now it is very quiet. Almost too quiet.. but it was damn loud without the silencer. One thing to mention, at freeway speed with a 5 speed tranny, it is quiet without the silencer. When you get on it... it will roar.
It is not ricey. Very low rumble.
schwettynuts 11-07-2005, 08:28 PM Why is it on general discussion tc? ACK.. where are you??? You are slacking off!!
ack154 11-07-2005, 08:32 PM It's here b/c someone bumped it from last year. Not sure why...
schwettynuts 11-07-2005, 08:45 PM Versello always post this.. i guess Ill help him out. lol

Prototype_xB 11-09-2005, 03:51 AM Looks like i'll be having to ditch my stock DC
glen619 11-09-2005, 06:06 AM Bah! I bumped it. Sorry for the confusion!!
kloquewerk 11-09-2005, 06:15 AM Very nice deep tone. kinda sounds like my cheapy exhaust. I need to take out my silencer because I've been wanting it to be louder for some reason lately. I hope you're running without yours still. maybe I should video mine, too :)
SwaTx21 11-10-2005, 07:47 PM does this xb have any headers ? or any other mods besides exhaust?

Nice... Love the Video!! I am a weird guy... I want the sound of the exhaust to have a very low sound (lower than or equal to the Espelir without the silencer when it's in low rev...btw what is the price range I am looking at??) Any other suggestion?? Is Borla good?? Thanks in advance y'all!
WeeMan 11-15-2005, 07:11 AM if only someone would do this with their borla exhaust.... hey, i know this is an old post, but are you running anything else such as headers, or intake? This also changes the sound of your exhaust. Sounds amazing. if i don't find out any more info on the borla...i think Espelir has won my money.
az_pinoy 11-15-2005, 05:30 PM he was running the K&N intake along with that exhaust..no aftermarket headers
JC
elzy0000 11-19-2005, 03:12 AM he was running the K&N intake along with that exhaust..no aftermarket headers
