Just pray it out straight to the front, not up or to the side. Very easy job.

Return from the dead!
I've been running without the snorkel and a K&N for a while now.
Last night, I got antsy and I removed the charcoal filter too... yea, I don't have to worry about CARB and I just had my emissions checked, so I'm not concerned.

That thing was more restrictive than I thought, just based on the sound of the intake box at WOT... holy crap.

Where is the charcoal filter located at, in relation to the air-filter and throttle body ? Also, in removing the charcoal filter, does this increase or decrease mpg ?

Totally true, however, our emissions is checked by a simple OBDII scan. As long as the engine isn't throwing a code, it passes... again, not worried, removal of the box for an intake falls under the same category. Not to mention that the 05 doesn't have the charcoal to begin with.

I have no idea what if any impact it will have on power or mileage, nor do I really care. I'm really just trying to see how I can minimize restriction with the stock system.
