How did you get your wheels to make horsepower? I've only successfully managed to get my engine to do that! CRAZY.

But for real, you already managed to PURCHASE a $17000 car without knowing what kind of wheel horsepower it makes. Why do you care NOW?

You cant feel that precisely There is debate on this because of the new SAE rating specs. But the only way to tell for sure is to run it on the same dyno as an 05-06 and compare. From the times I have seen mentioned on a track, they are pretty much the same though.

i know it just doesnt feel like 140 or what ever they say. i know the 07's have new stuff under then engine but i dont think it affects this part. but the engine just truly feels "faster" than the other ones i dunnno.

you cant feel how much HP we have. i believe the difference is 1hp with the new models. You put it on a dyno and the stock auto will push about 135ish while the 5spd is around 140+.

It will vary with the type of dyno. But 115 is way low compared to every other number out there.

youre more likely feeling the torque rather than the HP. Combined w/ short gear ratios (5 speed), the car is deceiving quick in lower RPM's. But dont expect too much up top.

Im not saying it didnt happen but 115 is darn low ... most are in the high 120's ....low 130's ...but then again ...whats another 5hp ..hehe. ....you pretty much wont feel it.

just because a car feels like it has more HP doesn't mean it does. My mom's Auto Concorde has more torque and more hp but it's alot slower then my tC, or atleast it feels slower.

And the concorde is about 600 lbs heavier than a tC.

Power, weight and most importantly, area under the curve all play a role in how fast a car can run.

ment felt like it has. ^^ Exactly. I'm saying that just because somthing has more HP doesn't mean that its faster. You can't just figure out how much HP a car has just by driving it around. Look at the Atom. Car has a turbocharged Honda Type R engine but does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds and the Bugatti Veyron does 0-60 in 2.4 sec. Just because a car is faster compared to another car doesn't mean it has more Power. The Atom is about 300 hp while the Veyron is 1001hp.
