ok i have yet another question... at what rpm does ur turbo start making boost??
just say cruising at around 70 mph at 3200 rpm's whats are ur boost levels???

You won't be in boost, you will still be in vacuum. It's not just rpm dependent but also throttle dependent. If youre just cruising around town or on the highway you won't hit boost unless you have a heavy foot or you slam the gas.

I'm in VAC at 70 unless I tap the gas fast to pass (I feel like Dr. Seuss) and it will go right into boost.

ok sounds good i was wondering bc i dont wanna be cruisin on some long trip and be pushin boost like crazy i could imagine what my gas mileage and egts would be....

Don't worry about gas, I avg. 30mpg on a 1600mile trip.

It was highway miles and you don't (and I didn't) go into boost very much. I was getting about 24-26mpg in city until I got my midpipe and it seems that I've gone down to 21-23mpg but it could have been me driving a little crazy.

Turbo is more efficient on the highway than NA. It's all about efficiency, exhaust velocity, and exhaust turbulence.

As long as you don't floor it a lot, running in vac will actually consume less gas. This is of course assuming you have the correct tune done.
