Default The custom turbo build has begun...

I have been debating about buying a kit since the second day I've had my car and after intense calculations I have decided I am resourceful enough to piece together my own kit becuase 4400 for a kit +800 ish to install+ 500 worht of gauges = too much for what I want.. And that's kinda on the cheap side.. So I came across this PPC https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...158309&start=0 and I jumped on it.. I got a hybrid T3/t4.. Bar and plate intercooler and Piping.. Log manifold.. Blitz BOV.. AEM wideband.. Blitz boost controller.. Pivot turbo timer.. Full apexi n1 exhaust.. Pedals.. Strut bar.. Ngk 1 step colder plugs.. Camcom.. For 1500.. Not to shabby..

Now I got to make a laundry list of what I need to complete it.. I need a new maf pipe because of the 07 differences.. A down pipe cuz it didn't come with one.. Emanage ultimate and pnp harness.. Act clutch or zpi clutch. And some injectors.. But I don't know which size.. I think 550s are too big for my goals..

I plan on running 7psi daily and ill crank it up to 9 or 10psi for fun.. I know its a budget build.. But safety is my first concern.. I already have the meat of the build.. Now I just need some turbo wisdom from all the SLers.. Anything else I need or any advise guys.. All advise is welcomed.. Thanks in advance

Probably.. 800 for the ultimate and pnp.. 350 for injectors.. And I'm not sure how much it would cost a shop to make me downpipe and MAf pipe.. And the clutch.. I don't know if I need one right away.. At 7psi I don't expect to be over 250whp.. Does the slippage get bad over that?

2000 or so sounds right.. Plus install and tune.. But I plan on completing this by the end of summer..

Also, is it cool to put on the full exhaust? The reason I ask is because it is 2.5" and I'm not sure if I'm going to be loosing any power since I don't have the turbo on yet.. Thanks in advance

i was wondering if anyone can put any input as far as getting the pressure sensor for the emanage ultimate, i keep reading that it will be able to tune partial throttle but i dont understand how. also is it hard to add the pressure sensor to the pnp harness or where exactly does it go.. i guess thats more of a question for the dezod guys or garage1217.. thanks in advanced

For Partial Throttle Tuning go with a Dezod Black Box, and use the e-manage for the rest. Unless u use the Greddy Pressure Sensor (I think that's it) to tune the car.

Well I'm buying the ultimate so I heard that you can tune partial throttle without the black box.. I just don't know if all I need is the pressure sensor to do so..
