There are tools that allow removal of lock without a key. A good wheel shop should have a set. After such removal you will need a new set of locks (these tools jamb over the outside of the locks and kinda mess them up during removal. Another option is to order a new key from gorilla (you did keep the little part of the packaging with the key numbers didn't you??)

all ya gotta do is tack weld a nut to the end of the lug nut...then just grad the right size socket put it on ur impact and it'll come right off

i did. but right now i have two stock wheels on the left side of my car and two aftermarket wheels on the right with one lug nut loose in the front.

the reason i was changing them was because i was heading to the mountains this weekend. i hope discount tire can help me out today...

are they the locking lugs or just a set of gorilla lugs?

they're locking lugs, but only one lug per set of wheels has the "G" on it, indicating that it needs the special "key"

and yes, they're made by "Gorilla"

find a 12point socket that almost fits over the nut and give it a few light taps with a hammer. dont beat the snot out of it, just enough so it will hold. that should work.

this is not an option. i have 8 of these to do.

the key is the thing that's broken, not the lug.

i understand........the socket will act as the key.

you only need to do that on the keyed lugs, the others you can get off with a tuner lug socket.

the boys at discount tire helped me out and charged me $20 to bust those stupid gorilla lugs out.

I'm never using locking lugs again.

i work in the tire lube express at walmart, im the automtive department manager, i don't work outside but we had a customer come in with a set of 22's and had locking lug nuts on every single lug... and they were 5 lugs, my techs declined it for this reason, but I chuckled and said u'd be a fool to try and steal those babies.

reason i said this is because imagine losing all 5 LOL...

p.s. they just wanted a rotation, walmart does not handle highspeed balance or balancing/mounting of any kind over 17" rim and they don't mount under a 40 series tire. least thats our policy at our shop.
