haha, the best I could do with them next to my car...haha....remember, the car is pushing down on the stock ones so these tires do fit, they just have no weight on them

I didn't want 18s. I like the 17s for this car......but I also came from having a truck with 225/75/14s so 17s are HUGE to me...haha

I just liked this style and wanted to keep a stock look to the car. I'm excited about the rubber :)

Eh, it's my summer setup so they'll last me a good bit......I don't race much at all and if i do, i'll switch to my old rims/tires............winte time i'm getting Blizzarks on the stockers and might buy 2 rims and get drag radials to keep just for the track

So they just shipped them with a piece of cardboard on the face of the wheels, no box or anything huh :loser: . But those wheels do look awesome.

Yup.....two pieces of cardboard and foam on the face of the rim. Hey, they got to me with 0 scratches so I don't mind. They also gave me a lifetime warranty against defects. The guys at Discount tire direct are great and very helpful.

These tires were 130 a piece for 225/45/17....cheapest I could find on any site and at some tire vendors in my area. The rest were around 150+.

that's what I'm doing ;)

I sat and took about 30 minutes yesterday and polished 1 wheel :)....Used some Eagle 1 rim protectant (corrosion resistant). Made sure to get every part of it and then realized I still had 3 more to do....haha.....my hand was sore so I'll do them maybe within the next 2 weeks. I want these baby's to be CLEAN!. I'm going to take the stockers off and degress/clean them thoroughly as well. Those are going to be sparkling going into storage in my basement (humidity controlled :) )

actually man, since the wheels have a clear coat, what I usually do is wax em with the same type of products I use to wax my car, they last a whole lot longer then any normal tire product I have tried. Give it a shot!
