Default Buying a CAI and Sway Bar

Im ordering the Injen Polished CAI, 2007 tC from Houseofscion and I was wondering if I can also install it as a short intake?

I want to get the sway bar also but i dont know where to order it from. Any suggestions?

I have no idea on the conversion for that intake, but it wont make any difference either way unless you are just trying for the best look.

Are you order the TRD rear sway? If so, I got a pretty good deal at TRDSparks.

x2! You also might want to ask trdsparks if they can get you the CAI to.

It just seems a lot easier to install it as a short intake.

Yeah, I was thinking about the TRD sway bar, Ill go check out TRDsparks. What setting do you have your sway bar on?

Track 100% of the time. Street is a pretty mild change. You will like the results for sure.

I run TRD Springs, TRD rear sway, hotchkis strut tie and Avon TECH M550s. Very nice setup.

I love the sound of my Injen cold air intake. But that is pretty much all it is good for. I only picked it up because I got a good deal on it. Installing the cold air tube isn't to difficult. I just had to remove the wheel.

Yeah, the cold air part is cake. Some remove the bumper, but I have looked a million times and have installed/removed a CAI on the tC and have yet to figure out why you would ever need to remove the bumper. I cant even see why it would remotely help.

Front springs dont take a lot. The rear wont be hard, but you have to remove a lot of the rear interior to get to them.

That the reason I don't want to have it as a Cold Air Intake. I don't want to take off my bumper. If i can install it as a Cold Air Intake without taking off the bumper I will keep it like that.

I'll think about buying the spring I'm not too sure if I will be able to install them.

You definately don't have to take off the front bumper. A trick a recommend is putting a sock over the tube so it doesn't get scratched up when installing it.

when i installed my injen, i did the short ram one day then came back the next and did the cold air. and from my experiance the short ram sounds louder, but i belive it is because it is closer to the driver's window. now power wise i know its really not much but the CAI is a little better because the short ram is still pulling in the warm air from the engine bay as the CAI pulls in cooler air.

try www.intensescion.com
I haven't used them but they seem to have a pretty good price.
I'm pretty sure they're on these forums too.

make sure you buy off an authorized dealer if you are going Injen or Fujita as they are strict about warranties should you ever need one...

i just bought the INJEN CAI from directtuning.com, they give you free shipping also...mine is the '07 version and i love the sound it makes. I installed it myself as a short ram and it is definitely louder than the full CAI. So far im going to keep it as a short ram because it sounds amazing with my exhaust, ill post some videos in a little of what it sounds like...
