I'm planning on doing some deadening here pretty soon. I have the SRS side air bags on my seats and i was wondering if i could remove them so i can remove the carpet. I would disconnect the battery ofcourse before trying to attempt to remove the seats. Do you think it is safe to remove the chairs?

yup. as long as you wait a little bit... anything airbaggy will be ok. but as always... just take your time and be careful.

OEM airbag work says 30 seconds...which is VERY short for this kind of work. If I were going to do this stuff, I'd disconnect the battery, go install deadening in the hatch and atleast 20-30 mins later take out the seats. If those things prematurely pop, it'll give ya a nice smack in the face and kick your wallet's ___.
