NICE! Just a quick question, is the lip on the back wheels bigger than the front? I always wanted to see those wheels with the different offset.

Yes the rear lip is bigger than the front BUT since scion is FWD... it would be stupid to put different offset and width on the rear. but axis 7mod comes with MAXIS lips and they r the same offset and width with the front. so those lips r for looks ONLY and they are *FAKE* lips if u know what i mean.

What exactly is the "maxis" lip??? What offset are you on too?? It looks great.

i'm getting those same wheels in a week!
the "maxis" lip is an axis exclusive, it's where they have a different lip on the same offset and width wheel, thus looking like a staggered setup, but in reality it's not.
the wheels i'm getting are:
18x7.5" 35mm offset, but the front has a 2" lip and the rear has a 3" lip - same width, same offset, but fatter lip in the back for that staggered look :)

so when u have to rotate, will you just remove the tires and rotate those or will you rotate the 3inch lipped wheels to the front?

exactly, same as if you had a real staggered offset.

Maxis lip and its "meaning" will be a misnomer because it isn't as simple as having a different lip for the same given wheel width and offset. Well, that is what you get, but unfortunately, Axis' marketing isn't educating the US public about the true meaning behind the wheel. The DISK is lower, meaning that the center mounting pad where you bolt the wheel to the hub is thinner. This moves the whole spoke section in while maintaining the same offset. The result is a deeper lip, BUT that also means that you now have less clearance for brake calipers. This isn't a problem in the rear of most cars that use single piston sliding calipers that don't have much clearance problems, or even on the Scions that have even more space because of their rear drums. But depending on the exact spec of the disk on the wheel (what is Axis' disk spec on the Maxis lip lineup?) and the width of your front brake caliper, you will probably not be able to just mount those rear wheels on the front.
