I'm looking to buy a set for my xB... can any Yakima roof rack set work interchangable with my xB? how about the bike kits and wind deflector?

i already had 2 Boa long-tray bike rigs, etc from my previous YakRack, but needed newer tower/feets PLUS the wider bars and wind deflector for TheShortBus. great company, great product, have at one time or another had Yak setup on Celica GTS, Subie 4x4 wagon, GTi, Audi 80quattro, Civic 4x4 wagon, and now VW Passat + the xB (each has its own specific rack--xB is wider than the Passat!).

 

You can also search this forum for "roof rack" and will find a lot of threads about it.

Not just any Yakima rack will fit the box, but all Yakima accessories will fit any Yakima rack.

The price is for the four towers and two crossbars- the snowboard attachment and snowboard are extra...

Many competitors' accessories will fit Yakima racks, as well...
