Need to find an outdoor car cover with padded sides to prevent door dings. Anyone know of a good one? What do you do about the antenna... punch a hole and put in a ring?

i got one for my matrix, but it doesn't have padded sides for door dings. the nifty thing with the antenna is that they built a hole for it. i will have to get a picture of it later when i get it back. don't remember the company, but i will find out.

Ok, I will look online for a Matrix cover. I bet I could buy some kind of padded quilt material, sew velcro on it and attach it to the inside of the car cover on the sides. Then, when I want to throw it in the washing machine, just take the pads off and wash separately.

Should wait about a month for paint to cure before trying to use a cover, right?

prob took that long on the boat when it was being delivered. you should be OK in regards to paint curing then.

Hahahha yeah it's gonna be a few feet too long, no doubt. Any other suggestions?

I ordered a Custom Evolution 4 from Autoanything.com. They had the "Scion-XA-with-rear-spoiler" as an option, so this baby should fit like a glove.

I've got a custom car cover for my xA.

It doesn't have padded sides, but the material is very thick.

It also has a built-in antenna sheath.

I'll get a pic and info posted for you ASAP!
