Default Finally...after all this...

I got it! I got a '07 Super White tC today. Walked out the door at 17k. It was the spec version, saved myself about 2 grand.

After I found out about what the differences were it was not worth it. The wheels/rims are 16 inches rather than 17 (and nicer rims). No sunroof, no engine immobolizer and no steering wheel radio controls. These were not worth it to me at 2k in my scenario...not worth it AT ALL.

It also came with the tC floor mats the manager hooked me up with. It's not the spec floor mats but the standard tC mats which are nicer.

I honestly had a great experience and would recommend anyone to this manager when getting a car. She was amazing and she MADE SURE I was walking out with the the car today. It was actually at another dealership so she did a dealership trade...after about 25 minutes of making phone calls. The dealership was Northridge Toyota/Scion.

She didn't push me to get the standard tC (which we originally were going to get) but she mentioned another dealership had the spec edition, and I researched it and ended up getting that one. No problems, great experience. A+.

I would post up pictures but it's pointless. I'll post up when I do some mods or something rather than post up beauty pictures (haha) we have a bunch of great new scion tC pictures around here.

Well..after all the arguing and build up of a bad reputation here I finally got it...

Thanks for all the help you guys gave and all the information on the forum. EVERYTHING helped.

Haha well the only things that would have benefited me for getting the standard is the moonroof...but that drops some weight so I'm cool with it.

I plan to first change out the back lights, tints, and HIDs. I already have a really nice Sparco shift **** at home that matches everything. I want to get some interior lighting done too.

As for performance the first thing I'll put on the car is the CAI and exhaust.

We'll see, I mean those 2000.00 can run me good. Like I said the only thing I'm losing is the moonroof.

Oh and an alarm system of course. I'll probably go with AutoPage.

you are on probation. if you do not have decent wheels before your probation is over, tc owners are permitted to redicule you on sight, on the phone, on the forum or in any other way shape or form until you get rid of those 16 inch detrimits to the tc's image.

seriously though, how much weight does having a non-opening sun roof save? and seriously, as a cali driver, you are going to hate not being able to open the sun roof.

i love it when the weather warms up here and i can open the sunroof and roll with the windows down.

oh well, to each their own...

The price for the tC Spec is $15,000 for MT and $15,800 for AT, plus $540 delivery fees.

yeah, 17 grand out the door? those are some expensive floor mats...

Yeah after taxes it cost 17k...

Floormats cost $141 I believe, the factory ones. Go do some research and the factory mats are actually listed at $171 I believe.

I mean yeah it makes sense?

15000.00+540.00 x 10.5% (this is not adjustable) = 17171.70...this is EXCLUDING floor mats...and I walked out at 17k?

I think it's a cool.

We'll see...

Seirously tho, wheels and springs should be numero uno!

welcome to the spec club!

I don't find the hubcaps repulsive - in fact, new wheels are probably one of the last of my planned mods (I'm installing my exhaust next week and lowering springs next month).
