Default Guaging Interest on Chrome Door Handles

I got a guy who fabbed up a sick set of these for my tC, they are abs plastic and look like chrome. Since the ones on the market now are like 150 bucks and are exactly the same things that my buddy made for me (we literally copied a pair of them), I could probably produce these for like 50 bucks shipped. Hows that sound? I have em on my car now but I don't have a digi cam, except my phone. I'll snap some phone pics or potentially some better ones if I can get a hold of a nice camera soon, but first I just wanna guage interest on this. They look sick on a superwhite or a flint/bsp/nautical blue. What do you guys think?

yeah barf, till you see em and send me a pm asking how you can get them. They look really good if you have anything else chrome on the car. I have a fat chrome lip on mine so it works out well. Either way, why would I need a certain number of posts to become a sponsored sales? The guy from Deltas selling that hood scoop had like 1 post when he started selling something. Either way, like I said I'm gauging interest, if you're not interested then the best way to illicit that is by not becoming a part of the thread.

btw. I did a search and came up with a ton of hits asking about chrome door handles, I'm trying to do the tc community a favor, because it would seem there are quite a few other people out there who are looking for these.

for the record scandalous, I would never put a widebody kit on any car, or a huge gawdy fiberglass subwoofer assembly with tv's and crap in my trunk...different strokes for different folks I guess

I have them and they compliment my chrome lip well, and the chrome in the eyebrows. I think they look great, as long as you don't over do it with the chrome. I got mine on eBay for $38 shipped, so 50 bucks is too much.

also, the ones on ebay come with two sets: 4 handles, 2 key deletes, and 2 with keyholes.

Fake chrome. Anyone want to take guesses on how long until that plastic starts to chip or flake? Then you can have black/fake chrome door handles.

BTW, here is the link to the ebay seller. He sells them for the tC as well. They're a better deal than what you're offering.

I bought mine from gtxdesign, USA seller. The ones for xA also fit the tC.

Either way, real chrome, or fake I think they look good. I'll definitely let you guys know when/if the quality starts to deteriorate.

that listing is for "scion xA" not the tC. In fact the tC isn't even listed as a model they will fit on. If you wanna be a guinea pig and try to get those to fit on your car go ahead, but I'd rather have something custom fabbed for my car that I know will have excellent fitment. And I don't have a set price yet, I was gauging interest to see if it's even worth doing for my cost. And they don't chip or fade at all, 99 percent of the chrome on any factory vehicle that isn't hugely expensive is chrome plastic. I guess that chrome grille surround that comes stock on every scion tc is just sooooo classless and cheap huh? Truth is it holds up better than actual chrome plated metals, because chrome is rather delicate and pits and chips after a few years if not taken care of, and then it's an arm and a leg to replace. If you wanna spend 150 dollars on real chrome door handles that are going to get scratched, and pitted in a year or two go ahead, I'd rather just peel off the abs ones and replace them for 40 bucks should they ever get damaged.

Maybe offering them in body colors would get better response. I know alot of people would like to cover the keyholes without permanent modification. I have the plug covers right now but I still don't like the way they look. I would be interested in these in my body color.
