Install it yourself. Anyone with a little common sense can install this. It's plug and play. Basic positive and negative(ground) knowledge. Don't waste your hard earned money having someone install it. Chances are they don't even know your car, unless it's the dealer. GRR JUST DO IT YOURSELF we are here if you need help...

order this kit
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...152060&start=0 if your scared about the harness. It comes with a complete wiring harness that drawns the power from your battery instead on the factory harness. The seller, Cliff. Is the best there is. He ships your kit within 24 hrs and if you are not happy with anything he will work with you. Read the thread and you will see. I was not sure I got a blue enough kit and he offered to ship me different bulbs till I was happy! But I decided I'm happy!

Ummm, I think that would be a 6000k kit. Mine is 8000k so it's a bit more blue. My friend can post his 6000k kit later if you want!
this is his car... http://www.mobilehid.com/sciontc.htm

OK. BMW and other high end cars do not use anything more than 4300K HID temp. And they don't use kit either.

BTW. who ever offer you that quote with installation is not a very nice person. It is obviously clear that they are trying to take advantage on your lack of knowledge in HID technology. If you go for a Kit, which I don't recommend, just buy a kit that cost less than 150 shipped and install them yourself. If you don't know how to install post your pics and people here will help. don't get rip off.

install yourself ftw. It's seriously too easy. There's just a plug, and a place to mount the ballasts. That's pretty much all it is. Also, Prolumen is a great kit with a lifetime warranty! no complaints here!

That's a little high.

I'll do it for $350.
