i think you should pick a different effect chris...thats one isn't very noticeable and when you do notice it, it just looks kind of hairy

i think the background looks good. If the effect could be rounded off before it hits the chick, it would look better. she just looks hairy

yeah she looks like she has hairy legs. Why not go for a blurred effect with a feather gradient off the car and model so it doesn't look so weird?

Nice first attempt though
