Had an interesting idea today. I was wondering if anyone has tried to put in OEM and VRD foglights.

IMHO, that would be light overkill. Leave that to the big lifted trucks.

 

Haha it might be overkill but really its nothing compared to the silliness other people have done to their cars. I mean why not right? haha. If anything the VRDs would be a nice shiny way of filling in those vents haha.

 

No, but a guy by my work has 8 fog lights on his tC. It's an embarrassment to cars everywhere.

 

In some states you can actually get a ticket for having too many fog lights...

I'd like to see it though. With HIDs everywhere! lol

i seen it don't do it , it does not look good. i don't care about fog lights but if i had to choose just get VRD cuz OEM is too pricy

Go figure . Some states make it illegal to have two sets of fogs . How ignorant ! Virginia is one of those states . So , ....be careful if you do that you know your law

 

honda civic ricers do that around here, they get two sets of those autozone driving lights and mount them 4 in a row, I think it looks retarded. If you need that much light put hids in and properly aim them.

 

I don't think I could resist, I would definitely take some off his car when he wasn't around lol. Where does he have them all mounted?

do you guys know if the VRD foglights will remove the ugly left over marks from my HID kit that i have from my reflective housing?

yeah yeah i know i should just go projectors but i got a speeding ticket with 2 fix it violations, so im kinda looking for a cheap solution to fix those lil triangles. i was thinking about installing VRD fog lights and hoping it will mask it.

Ushki, do you have HID in your stock housing? and does your VRD cover up these triangle marks here in the red?

btw, this is not my car, and i have 8000k HID, so if i get the VRD foglights i will need to swap in 8000k hid blubs down there.

any help would be apprecaited

i like the light output of the oem ones better, but i like the styling of the other ones more...
