I need to replace my headlights and i am looking for the bluest looking headlights w/o having to do a retro fit or hid system. Please let me know i am driving uni right now!!!

Well, I think "best" and "bluest" are two different things. I believe Luminics have some very blue bulbs but they won't be the "best" in terms of visibility.

I have silverstar ultra's. In terms of visibility they are great but as far as color is concerned, i'm not impressed.

Are they illegal? Yes.
Will you get stopped specifically for the headlights? Maybe, depending on location and how strict enforcement is.
Will you get a ticket for them after being pulled over for something else? Again, it varies by location and enforcement.

The bluer they are, the more likely you are to get caught.

here in VA, youll get pulled over for blue colored lights or any other color.

 

I had a set of the yellow luminics and i would have to say there were great in terms of visibility. For the price, they are exactly what you would expect. By no means are they up with PIAA's, or true HID's but they are good bulbs none the less.

 

Thanx, i think i am gunna try the luminics give them a try if i don't like them i can always go with something else. Here where i live cops aren't to picky about light and stuff they actually enjoy looking sometimes. LOL Just to give you an idea a cop pulled me over cause he wanted to see the inside, that was it funny as crap. Thanx again for the lighting ideas. YOu guys rock!!!

 

If you get Luminics, make sure you buy their harness as well. These aftermarket "hid claim to be" runs at 85 W. Your stock harness only handle 55 W. If you don't have extra harness, you'll burn out your stock harness in no time

Yes but given two bulbs (one yellow and blue) of the same wattage, the yellow one will give greater visibility.
