Default Port and Pollish Heads

Any one know if port and pollishing the heads is worth it, and if it is, anyone know who does it.

Has anyone heard of any company working on a intake manifold for the 1nz fe?

I would be very interested to see a before and after dyno on a head P&P

it's not an issue of needing more fuel or boost, in fact flowing more air leans out the NA engine (while still being in the safe range) and that's where the power comes from. So that reasoning couldn't be further from the truth.

The issue with making power on the 1.5L with a port and polish is that the darn ECU in the scions will adapt to it. To get maximum gains a good chip program and cams would really help out and would def wake up the top end (4000rpm+)
but without the ECU tune you won't see the gains that you normally would.
(I'd expect maybe 1-3hp gains without a tune, and a conservative estimate of 12-18whp with a port and polished head, cam, 50mm throttle body, which are available, and a proper tune for the mentioned mods.
If anyone ever cracks the ECU I'll be able to put together a setup for a 125-130 NA 1.5L within a week. Which may not sound like much but that's a 20% increase in power without any gain in weight
