OK guys, i set up this poll cause im having trouble deciding between carbon fiber eyelids. If someone could post pictures of both on a SW, that would really help out. I've searched and have found nothing.

 

Are you going to be getting a cf hood?

 

No, i dont have any plans for a carbon fiber hood. I was thinking, if i get the cf eyelids, then i would get a cf fuel door and a rear hatch garnish

 

no, get the SW ones if you dont have a CF hood.

 

I have CF eyelids, bpillars, lip spoiler, hatch and mirrors

You don't need a CF hood to compliment CF eyelids ;)

definitely white. one of my favorite cars on here (parted out now, and the owner has moved onto an is250) was Kilo6_one's. superwhite w/ oem lip kit, gold advan rgII's, sw eyelids, etc etc the white eyelids made his car look completely ____ed off, and i loved the look

 

I think it looks good on italy's car because the carbon matches the FM better. Personally on a SW, I think it would stand out too much and look funny. With a CF hood though, they would blend more. Again, just my opinion.

 

haha he gave me those eyelids for free, when he sold his tC... LOL

 

I think white eyelids on a white car would look best. Looks good enough that I might put it on mine too
IMO C/F without a C/F hood might look cheesy.

 

yea, thats kinda what i was worried about, about stickin out too much. I really like the tc tc4italy, i think it looks awesome

So I decided.... and I went on a completely different route. I was gonna put on the white eyelids, but as soon as I put the black under layer on, I realized how good it looks











I think the reason I like it so much is that it is almost a perfect match for the housing. Anyway, thanks for taking an interest! tell me what you think!
