RAAMmat is an AWESOME product!!! I have used both dynamat and raammat and I will never use anything but raammat again. They are both great products but the dynamat is way to expensive. Rick (from raammat) is also a member of this forum and a great guy to deal with.

i could get 100 square feet of dynamat for like 140 bucks, where as almost 70 square feet of the raam mat is around 100 bucks....so i will have to look into e dead as well!
Rick's a great guy! I would suggest you get your materials from him.
We used Scosche Accumat products in my car:

Ah, I didn't realize people were having problems. I figure it's pretty expensive stuff to do that much of, but like you said, it is only beneficial.
It sure can make it a much more solid sounding car. Where are you guys getting the raammat and/or eDead from? I would definitely pick some up if I could find a good price!

I used one roll of raammat to cover my tC trunk, back seat floor, and passenger side quarter panel (for factory-fit bazooka sub install). The rest of the roll covered my fiance's civic entire trunk area, every metal space behind the back seats.
It's very easy to apply, no need for a roller or heat gun. It was between 65-75 degrees when I applied it.
On the Civic: Interior noise when cruising on the highway is reduced by about 40%.
tC: Can barely hear my Megan exhaust. No rattles in the trunk from the sub. The sub is loud enough for my taste in the car, but can't be heard from outside the car.
The next roll is going onto the civic's doors, then another roll to go on my tC's doors.
