im still debatin on the megan drift spec, hks hi power or the tanabe concept g exhaust. they all sound good but still dont know which one to get.

either or that get a universal exhaust with custom pipping. most of the time like for the HKS exhaust for example, reason why it cost a lot for an axle back, let alone an exhaust is because of its name brand. just like the rest, your basically paying for a name stamped onto the product. you can prob get some other universal exhaust and get the same gains as you would with the name brand but if you want i'd go with the Tanabe if your going N/A because its pretty quiet and not annoying in those times in need of a quiet relaxing drive.

well i have the tanabe and i love it , just the right sound.

does the tanabe has a deep toned sound?

yeah i guess it's deeper than the ones you would usually hear on civics and what not. i hate the lawn mower sound and wanted one that sounded good,and i'm really happy with this one.

your not gonna get a straight answer, just decide whether you want a axle back or cat back then decide from there

there is alot of diffrence if you want sound and a fake performance look go axle,

if you want performance and are planning on putting some power under the hood of your tc you want cat back

didn't you see my post at the beginning of this thread about the ARK N2? Sounds nice and deep, no rasp, and has the best output for the tC...12whp! Also the ARK DT-s, which is a more stock looking exhaust that adds about 8-9whp i believe

Honestly, i was going to buy the N2 way before i got sponsored...just waiting on the cash. Then i was fortunate enough to pick up the sponsorship in the meantime...and i couldn't have been happier! The exhaust was more than i bargained for. The people at ARK are also great people and stand by their products...customer service is great. And for the originator of this post, if you do get the ARK...ask for Ted and tell em Ty sent you :D

i like the look of ark but im greddy all the way because its not loud and its the perfect exhaust to get IMO with a header w/o having to get 30" resonators n stuff

i had a friend with a megan header and greddy evo2 exhaust, and omg it sounded horrible.

at the same time, i had a megan header with a magnaflow muffler, no cats and no resonator and it had little rasp.

so its all on your muffler choice and header choice, i think if you go with the MMW header you will get the least rasp due to hte header design.

I have the magnaflow Cat back kit, full bolt on except for cutting one pipe, and I couldn't be happier right now. I really like it.

And i wouldn't have accepted the sponsership if i didn't think it was the best for the tC. I've seen dyno charts for alot of the exhausts and vid's for the tC and i'd have to saw that the best choice for me was the N2 and i'm sure alot of other members would agree.

i have heard the HKS and the Tsudo, but never have heard the Skunk.

i can assure you the HKS is not loud at all if you are stock.

The tsudo is stoopid loud, something i wouldnt put on my car.

thats what i was thinking too that tsudo was the loudest, hmmm now I wish I can hear the skunk in person, these videos are misleading...

i have the megan cat back and its great, hella loud but awesome, and you can definatly feel the gains even with stock header and intake. :eyebrow:

but yea im gonna replace the muffler soon cus the finish is pealing off of it, and im thinkin about goin with an apex-i muffler (the gold finish one cus its baller :rofl: )
