His products are top notch quality, at a very competitive price.
Personally, I've purchased a CAI panel, Gearswitcher Ultimate and a Pineapple knob. I'll probably end up buying the other handful of products that are on his site, I've been so impressed.
Thumbs Up!!!

mengsta 12-30-2007, 12:34 AM Hey i know this is an old thread but did you guys install his shortshifter? With the cage risers? I couldnt get mine to work since having the cage raised, it put stress on the shifter cables.

I did. I love it. What exactly do you mean by put stress on the shifter cables? Did you take off the stock risers first?
mengsta 01-06-2008, 06:30 AM the stock risers? You mean the stock cage bushings? because they dont raise the cage. Are there stock risers?!?!
Well just picture the cage, and how the shifter cables sit in the cage. the shifter cables and the cage, are practically at an even level, letting the shifter cables sit in the cage easily. Well if you raise the cage, the shifter cables have to be raised up to fit int he cage then bend down at an angle after it is in the cage to connect to the shifer itself. I'm sorry im terrible at explaining butt this is my best lol. Well i couldnt use the cage risers on the top 2 slots because it felt like the shifter cables would break if i forced them in.

wazzu_coug 01-30-2008, 07:21 PM Just got my radiator cooling plate today (over a week after payment). Somewhat dissapointed. Had to email to find out when product would ship. Packaging was nothing more than two pieces of cardboard taped together with the cooling plate in between. The radiator cooling plate is made of plastic. There is nothing on DI's website that says what the material is. Would have been willing to pay more for metal.
AcidDrop 01-30-2008, 07:30 PM ^his products are great/awesome, he has been busy which is why you don't really see him on SL anymore. yes i recieved mycooling plate in a cardboard box as well, it's not like it's gonna crack in half. when you want something please do your research on it instead of having to hear you complain about it. here monstermotorworks makes a an alumium plate cause metal weights more. :come:
2_much_tc 01-30-2008, 08:30 PM ^ Word. I'm pretty sure Doc. I ships all the cooling plates like that. I think for the price, it's worth it. He has high regards in my book...
mengsta 01-30-2008, 11:28 PM Yeah still its just a cooling plate, after you've purchased so many car parts you realize that youve always been wasting money. His short shifter though is hella cooo.
AcidDrop 01-31-2008, 04:31 AM Yeah still its just a cooling plate, after you've purchased so many car parts you realize that youve always been wasting money. His short shifter though is hella cooo.yeah everyone tells me that i waste my money but eh no kids and not married so i'm enojoying it while i still can.
mengsta 01-31-2008, 04:29 PM Well yeah thats a good enough reason then, lol. Gotta do what makes u happy right. If only CALi (CARB) wasnt so tough. I wuld have a turbo kit by now.
Danger_Darren 02-15-2008, 11:10 PM I just got my shifter cable and cage bushings. Its been about 4 days since i paid so no complaints there. I havent installed them yet but they look top notch.
mengsta 02-17-2008, 03:42 AM Cool, tell us about how it goes, Especially on how you put in the cage bushings, if you got the risers that is. I couldnt put the 2 top cage risers, since it caused my shifter cables to bent drastically to a degree that it actually seemed like it would break if i screwed the cage back in.
Danger_Darren 02-18-2008, 10:23 PM Alright. I just installed everything about an hour ago. After the test drive i have to say i am really impressed. This is the only mod i have done where i actually feel a difference before and after.
Putting the cage bushings in wasnt too hard. I just popped the metal piece out with a pair of pliers and pulled the rubber through the bottom, Then i used a file to file down the rough edges inside so the delrin piece would fit easier. It was simple. Just repeat on all 4. The back 2 were a pain. My hands are all cut up from the sharp butt plastic edges.
I got the ones for the OEM shifter and mine sits at the exact same height as it did stock. i even compared the two bushings together and they looked the same size.
The Cable bushings were alot easier. I just pulled the pin out and pushed the old bushing out with a pair of pliers, and replaced them with the Delrin pieces.
The whole process took about a twenty minutes.
mengsta 02-19-2008, 04:11 AM im talking about the cage bushing risers, Because i used the cage bushings that raise the cage, it kind of puts alot of stress on the cables. Well im glad to know the OEM hieght bushings work better.
CSUnited14 02-21-2008, 04:05 AM I got my short shifter from the Doc.. It was shipped out the day after i payed... Perfect he cant control shipping guys soo thats not his problem.. now if it took a week just to ship it then theres a problem..
But all worked out perfectly i couldn't be more pleased.. Everything seems so weird with the short shifter but i love it and gear changes feel so smooth now... Good work Doc you will see more purchases from me Asap. also i sent out the stock shifter today.. hope you get it soon
07_Tc_blacksandpearl 02-22-2008, 05:06 AM Doc I is awesome. I bought his ss with all the buashings 50% throw reduction and 2.5 inch height reduction and damn... I feel like im shifting with just my wrist. Definently a mod I love. I also got his engine cover, it has a little fitment issue but nothing I cant deal with. I also have the cai plate I still need to instal :|.
tCvirus 02-22-2008, 02:02 PM  This guy is awesome. Ordered a Injen fender mount and a Radiator Plate and they came extremelly fast and made a great addition to my tC!
