Default Epiphany

Here is one of the definitions, I think it to be particulary relevnt to my particular situation...
a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
As many may know, I have resigned as the Scion Manager at Toyota of Puyallup.
A variety of events and realizations have led me to understand the path I had taken has conluded and now it is time I rest and await a new calling.
I have enjoyed thuroughly the great people I have come to know during this experience and hope the friendships I have cultivated will continue. I think my current screen name to be no longer relevnt but I will emerge anew and look forward to seeing many of you at events this summer and here on the boards.
For the rumor mill: While my decisison may have been abrupt, it was thoughtful and deliberate. Any speculation to the contrary is false.

Steve,

I must say that the news was a bit of a shock but as one who's had a life-affirming epiphany before I totally
understand!

Please know that I miss you greatly already!!! This community has lost someone whom I consider to be one of the best champions ever and an even greater friend!!!!

I'm sure you'll move on to bigger and better things no doubt and this time of reflection and refocusing will lead to a greater peace and a better balance of work & family life.

I look forward to the phoenix rising from the ashes and can't wait to see what you emerge into and where your next path will take you!!!!!!

Yuppers, sad to see ya moving on. We will all move on sooner or later; such is life. It's the good times and great memories that your support for the community has made possible for all of us.

Thanks for all of them and good luck with things.

Orleans said it best when they said:

You're still the one -- who can scratch my itch
Still the one -- and I wouldn't switch
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
You are still the one -- that makes me shout
Still the one -- that I dream about
We're still having fun, and you're still the one
You're still the one, yeah still the one
We're still having fun, and you're still the one

We're all better off and the community is better off having had you at the helm for as long as you were! Now you get to just hang out with us and not worry about anything but having fun!

Hmmm.

Well. I hate to say it, but there really aren't too many more reasons for me to come on this site anymore. Steve was a big reason that I still came here.

You'll be missed man!

sorry to see you go Steve, hope to see you around at the events, you will be missed, and if you are looking for a job in the grain export business, the elevator I work at is looking for a control room operator.

Well, I can't say that you being a Scion dealer or not bothers me or affects me, whatsoever, as a member of the PNW forum. You said you'll still be active on the forum and in attendance at events and that's all that matters for me.

Congratulations on making the changes in your life that you feel are needed. It takes a lot of guts to do that. Life betterment is a great thing!

Honestly sad to see you depart the position, Steve, but life is change.

Best wishes on whichever direction you go. You and Allison always made things you showed up at a little brighter - hopefully you will still show up when you can - we are still those friends who drive funny cars.

One BAD thing about this (for us, not necessarily for you) is there now appears to be a vast gap between north of Seattle and south of Portland with no Scion champion who is actually involved in any way with the community.

I like both of the salesmen that sold me my Scions, but they are just salesmen. Once they are off the clock they go home and forget about Scions.

To them we are "customers" not "community."

PLEASE stay in touch, Steve.

Best of luck (and skill!) on your new ventures. May the grass be greener and the sky bluer.
