i personally LOVE the sound of the TRD exhaust. It is very mellow, but deep. Not ricey AT ALL. there is a really ____ty vid of my car in the snow on scioncommunities.com that you can check out...

http://scioncommunities.com/sc/index.php?page=videos&section=view&vid_id=100015

...wasnt trying to be funny, more than less one of those things where my friend took the footage and made a really fruity vid.

anyways, you can def. hear the exhaust. sounds REALLY nice IMO. i cant wait to put on the high flow cat and see what hapens.

highway is not too bad at all

(considering i have removed all the sound deadening material):

...as for pics:

...some of them are old, but do the exhaust justice.
My only gripe is its a pain in the nuggets to keep the tip shiny without some metal polish (which i suppose is expected). Hope all of that helps.

nice and deep without enough groan to attract the 5-0.

and you did say its not to loud on highway right?

also what is the avg price on these i have seen from 270-400

not to positive what they retail for as i havent sold one in a while, i will look into it this afternoon.

as for the highway, that is correct, its not really loud, drony or annoying.

exhaust retails for 399.99 at the dealer.

def. could find cheaper, and i could offer a discount to you, but you would most likely find it cheaper w/ shipping elsewhere. Hope i was able to help...

alright so here is what i found so far

tanabe-260
greddy sp2-260
trd-around 300 was the lowest which one is the best for the price

and also from what i found tanabe is only one that advertises in cabin noise to a minimum

there is a clip somewhere of the tanabe medallion touring exhaust it does sound very nice in the vid. i also have the trd exhaust. if i'm correct borla also makes a decent setup.

I've got the Borla and it sounds pretty darn sweet. Just like the TRD in that it is not ricey and not noticeable on the highway. I think it is also a catback.
