Get a DA polisher, clay bar, speed glaze, and NXT Tech wax to get the swirls out.

Yeah I know!

I forgot to tell the dealership to not give me a wash after my oil change. Now look what happened! I just had it professionally detailed last month, and been taking so much care. Oh well....

Even most professional detailers make it that swirly. Think about it, it's not their car, are they going to clean it really well like you would?

He did a great job, it was perfect till the detail boys at the dealership used these brushes and then wiped it dry. I was out walking the dog around and came back and. "Oh NO!" I will fix it tomorrow if it's not cold outside...

I wouldn't have paid if he didn't do what I thought was $200 worth of work. I had used my car for 4 months fishing. My dog crapped and threw up in the back, and it was sooo dirty inside.

In all honesty I would make the dealer take car of it or point out the crappy job their detailers at the dealership do.

I doubt they will fix it, but I could try. My uncle sells Toyotas there, so maybe he can talk to them too.

Save the $200 dollars and buy your own kit. At least with your own kit it's a one time price and you can do it more than once...keep that money and put it towards more mods or whatever.

This is EXACTLY why I go to Midas now for my oil changes. It only takes 15 minutes and about $25. Nice Bezel BTW

Oh, I already had the car professionally detailed for my b-day present. I had the platinum detail, inside shampoo, outside 3 stage wax for $200. That was two months ago, and went for my oil change two days ago and they washed the car after, not detail it. Sorry for the bad info.

I spent 3 hours washing and waxing today, and all the swirlies are gone, thank God! I used brand new micro-fiber towels and washed with Meguire's "pink" deep chrystal car wash soap. Then dried with a brand new Absorber. Then heavily waxed with Zymol liquid cleaner wax (blue bottle). Used a round micro-fiber applicator and buffed with new micro-fiber towels.

I did, but I had to drive 3 miles to a sunny spot in the city. Around here the roads are covered with dirt during the winter, so after the snow melt it is raining, which causes nothing but dirt and mud. Now it's not raining anymore, but there's still nothing but dirt all over the roads. Having a clean car is next to impossible out in the woods. I remember the day when I lived in L.A., I can only dream...
