I just finished painting the silver trim in my xB to match the exterior color. Camouflage!

What kind of paint and apparatus did you use?
Aerosol or spray machine?
How many coats?

The paint trim looks great...but no offense, the camo green doesn't go well with the interior :(

Looks damn good to me! Exactly what I was planning cept I'm doing black on mine. Did you sand at all? I know the window controls has some texture in them. I'll prolly sand em down with some 220 then work my way up to about 600 and paint em up.

I did sand all the parts with 360 to knock off most of the original paint and roughness.

I bought the paint in aerosol cans from paintscratch.com. It's all professional grade stuff. It was a bit pricey but it matches the car and should be very durable. I couldn't have had it done professionally for less.

I was going to pull mine off next week to paint them BCP. Now im happy i am going too.. One of my customers owns a paint shop so i just have to pay for paint woohoo! Ill post some pics when im done.

Have you considered painting the rest of the center stack? I think it would look great.
