Default Help!!!! Getting a Scion monday, few questions...

Hey guys I am new here so dont yell at me lol, I am just lookin for help and didnt know where to post, I was wondering when I go to order my Scion monday how long will I have to wait for one with the airbags and exhaust? I hate airbags but I am a girl with 11 points on my license and my insurance company said it makes my insurance $90 lower per month so it would help me out if I could get them, also, which is the most popular color? I want one not EVERYONE has, I was thinking about the flint mica color, I am not going all for looks, I am putting a turbo on it, whatever I can think up and do myself asap.....I dont like cars that arent turbo, but thats all I can get approved for as of right now because I have NO credit, it isnt bad, but I just have none, thanks and any help appreciated....

Here's a link to a poll of what colors people got... of course not everyone has voted but it may help.

From what I can tell the airbags will determine how long you wait. The side airbags are rare.

The exhaust was on backorder but I think I heard that they are not anymore, may want to ask your dealer about this.

As for the unsurance and airbags, mention to your insurance that dual airbags, and driver knee airbags are standard, and ask if there is a deduction for the side airbags. The agent was probably thinking of airbags in general and you may automatically get that discount and need not wait for that option.

Good luck in your search. If you can call around the dealerships first and see if anyone has what you want in stock before placing an order. Most people have been waiting a really long time for their vehicle and its better to know what you are getting yourself into.

Well basically I want one bone stock, has to be a 5 speed (I cant drive an automatic, looong story lol) The only thing I want is the exhaust and airbags would be nice but if I cant get them thats fine, and yes I thought they were just regular airbags too I didnt know it had those other ones, the extra money that I save on insurance would be for me to do things to the car anyways, and what kind of warranties to they have bumper to bumper? Not that it matters I will void it anyways, I had my other car and the third day I had it I couldnt wait any longer, I went out in my driveway and put my eibach springs and tokico struts on lol.....I need this car so bad, I cant wait and I havent ordered it yet, I just might say screw it and get whatever they can find that day, they said they can call other dealers and have one delivered....

I believe every new car has a 3yr/36k warranty that covers everything - minus wear-and-tear and anything you do to void it. That may change state-to-state but that is what it is out here.

Im not sure exactly on the other warranty values, I purchased an extended warranty - which many people will debate over - for the peace of mind.

Another item of interest, anything that you purchase through the dealer and have installed will be covered for 1yr/12k or the remainder of your warranty - whichever is longer.

Granted you will spend more but it is an option. Just letting you know.

Good luck in your search.

If you have that many points on your license, take the bus.

red stands out the most and red gets into the most car accidents... and i think the insurance go up if your car is red..

black sand pearl, hardly anyone has it because it requires the longest wait, and if ya get a 5spd, its even longer (~3 months)

Color does not equal lower or higher insurance rates. Driving record, safety features, age, type of car, and cost to fix equal higher or lower insurance rates.

Red would get you noticed more. My G35 Coupe is the first red car I've owned and I've never gotten so many looks.

when i called my insurance for my xA they said side air bags would make my insurance rates go up. i think it has to do with the cost of the airbags. after deployed, getting new ones is extremely expensive.
