The 5axis modified one has custom quad-tip exhaust, but that is not production nor is it a planned accessory. To answer your question in the thread about the body kit, the body kit is the one seen on the car with quad exhaust, the gold car. Dang. scionofPCFL 04-12-2007, 08:49 PM Inline motors don't have dual exhaust, it's a waste of metal and adds unnecessary weight to the car. They may have dual tips, or they may have a second pipe that looks like exhaust, but in general, duals are only on V style motors. Djbombsquad 04-12-2007, 09:11 PM I really would like it just for looks if possible? It just looks sick on the xb you know? scionofPCFL 04-12-2007, 11:19 PM You could easily get a muff shop to make it for you. vintage42 04-13-2007, 01:17 AM Inline motors don't have dual exhaust... They may have dual tips, or they may have a second pipe that looks like exhaust, but in general, duals are only on V style motors. Even the duals on V-style motors are not true duals, if the motors are transverse (front wheel drive). The header from the forward bank passes under the motor and joins the header from the rear bank, becoming one pipe into a single catalytic converter. After the single exhaust system passes the rear suspension, it splits to make dual exhausts. Often it is not even a clean split; the left side is often a crude right-angle tap. Front wheel drive quasi-duals are fake, for appearance only. They are really single exhausts. |
