Would these be brighter than stock light bulbs?
Would they be brighter and extend further? or the smae? I jsut dont want to make my lights dimmer than they are. http://www.vertexracing.com/product.php?pid=2049
What you guys think? Is this an upgrade or downgrade if I got these?

Why dont you just order a hid kit from this guy.

the 6000k is very nice, stock doesnt even come close and they will arrive at your house in 1 business day.

Because 30<160 and 160 for bulbs is not going to be done. Vertex has sold nice products so I have seen, I jsut wanted an idea about these bulbs. I dont need to go hardcore HID im more getting these to match my fogs but I dont want to compromise the light output I have right now with stock bulbs.
i doubt they will be any brighter especially since they are blue. As you add color you lose light.
Silverstar is your best bet for light output but ive herd mixxed reviews on hw long they last. Oh yeah and you have to wear rubber gloves to instal them, if you tuch the bulb it wont last long at all.

Thats a pic of the color of their white bulbs which have that blue look. The light is actually nowhere near blue, however im wondering if these 9006 replacements will light up the road as needed, may have to take the gamble..

Maybe try the Silvania Cool Blues? I don't know if they would last any longer than Silverstars though.
I know from experience that your fogs are brighter than your low beams lol, so I don't see why these Vertex bulbs (same people who made your fogs) wouldn't be just as good.
get a set of 9005 Silverstars and do this mod.....

Buying blue bulbs for brighter lighting is like tinting your car for more sunlight....just doesn't make any sense.
Other than a proper HID retrofit, everything else is basically for looks or for extra glare.

^^ He's right. Don't go blue, they may look cool to all of the people on the road that you'll never see again, but they really dim the lights out. Do the 9005 conversion with either silverstars or silverstar ultras (if you have extra money to spend). If you don't want to do the conversion, just get one of those in a 9006 and it'll still be pretty good
