I have been cruising around the boards and saw a couple of people have molded screens in to there dashes. The biggest I have seen on here was a 7 inch molded, and of course the drop in units. Well I am not one to copy but once i saw what my buddy did to his xB I had to do it too. here is a picture of what his looks like, and what mine will look like after it is done.


thats 10.2 inches. Freakin huge for a molded in. The only thing that i will do differently is mine will be the color of my car.

Have you priced the paint for color matching your set up to the RS.4? $$$!

 

I goofed up when making this name. I was originally going to get an RS 4 but i ended up getting a Salsa Red Pearl. But paint with clear and everything installed and a professionall look (minus parts) is $350-ish. Cartoys told me the screen with install $1500 bucks. I got the screen for $300 and the install or $350 by cartoys with paint and everything. So I once it is all said and done I will have saved just under $900 bucks. Hows that for waiting for the best deal?

i don't know as of yet! it is a good possibility.

 

i did mine its a 10.4 too. im still in the works of finishing it but here check it...

once i actually finish it im thinking maybe a matte black. but if not then def a gloss black my car is TCM with all black components so im just stickin with the theme
