ok my question is I know they come with oil inside the supercharger and but do you have to change the oil out every so often or what? and how do you do it if you have to? from what I understand there is no oil pan tapping and stuff like turbo and some superchargers...

 

superchargers normally have like an oil plug that you unscrew and add or drain the fluid. you dont ave to change it that often as you would engine oil. i would check it like every 5,000 miles.

 

ok sweet thats what I was guessing was on there. I got another question so how is the whine from it are they loud or no? and can you hear it whine a bit at idle or no? I know i should compare it to my uncles but his whines a bit at idle and when he gets on it. it just screams! lol but thats on a corvette lol not a little scion....

 

the whine is there but noticable. once you put an intake the supercharger will whine more than a 3 year old.

thanks guys. I am going to use my k&n intake with the supercharger so I should hear the whine good! lol what about at idle? anything? i would love to sit at a light and have a little whine going on hahaha!

 

From what I've read and heard you cant really hear it at idle.
