Alright well i am going to start doing some upgrades to the tC and i wanted to know if any Miami guys have had any issues with the police and 6000k HID lights??? I want them, but im not willing to pay a fine for them!!!!

Alright as far as engine and suspension mods go i want to install a Borla exhaust (or other if recommended), Weapon R ram air intake, the home brew grounding kit and a TRD strut bar.... I know the strut bar wont have anything to do with this but do the intake, ground and exhaust hurt or help the fuel economy of the car any???

And alright, my plans for the audio, i am planning on leaving the tweeters alone and just upgrading the other 4 speakers (does anyone know what size they are? Sound domain doesn't know).... The speakers below are the ones i want to use... MBQuarts.... Anyone better that you guys know of? I am also going to dynamat the trunk, doors and where the rear speaker go...

In addition to the speakers i want to get an in dash tv but dont want to loose the iPod and steering controlls... Anyone know how to accomplish this?? Below is the unit i want to use. Anything else i should consider?

Here is the woofer i want to use... A 10 inch Bazooka with a built in 200 watt amp

Other than that, all i plan on doing is getting tints...

Thanks for everyones help!!!!

You don't have to worry about the cops about 6000k HIDs. (Then again I live in Chicago, so I dunno about the cops down in Miami) I've driven passed so many of them and followed a few. I've also lowered the beams so I don't blind anybody. Your high beams are a separate bulb, so you won't lose the ability to use it.

i'm not one to know alot about hids but I think you should be fine. 6K isn't extreme at all, so you should be fine. I don't think they'll pull you over just for HIDs but I think if your speeding they might mention them. As for the high beams. Pretty sure you don't.

Homie Im also in Fl, I had HID's on my box but I had some issues so Im currently waiting for my new set I also ran 6000k and had the same ? about "piggy issues" I asked a few and they all told me I was straight so long as my beam wasnt blinding on coming traffic, I actually did a side by side next to a Acura TL and the stocks on the TL where actually hella brighter then my 6000k so I personally dont think you will have any issues, in the event that you where to come across an ill tempered Johny Law, the most that can happen is a fix it ticket, in that case just switch to stocks get it checked then switch em back, you really should be good..........ps just dont be riding dirty and a fix it ticket will be the only issue you will probably ever encounter but I highly doubt it.
Good luck homie.

Really? I was thinking it would help you out since it helps your car breathe better.
