Does anyone know of someplace where we can get lamborghini doors put on a car? I'm looking to put them on our xb that we use for shows, it looks good now but I think with the doors it would pretty much complete it. I know someone up in Mass, but he's playing games with me right now. The dealership is paying so money isn't really a concern, I mean, obviously I don't want to get screwed but if anyone knows a place in or around CT, let me know. Thanks.

Kym

I saw them on ebay. They were pretty cheap. Just type in Scion XB and you should be able to find them. Good luck.

go to jt autostyle...i dont personally like lambo doors on a box, but the setup ive seen them do works really good. its easy to install as well. nuthin wrong w/ lambo doors, BUT the door shouldnt have a frame rail like the scion...if you do it to a car w/ no door frame like a supra, miata or something of that sort, it actually looks pretty decent =P

You can get them from REDRUMCUSTOMS.com They are in New jersey so it's not all that far from you call them and ask for Wade Tell him that Dave told you to call for them. They can also install them for you.

Have to agree 100% with quadoptix. I think you'd have to swing the xB door up 180deg. to get in or out. Now suicide doors on a box, hmmm..............

I spent this morning looking for every pic of the JT Autostyle lambo doors. I have one question I cannot get anyone at RedRum or JT's to answer.

How much room do you really have to get out? Are they practical for a daily driver like mine, or just for show?

Anyone tried getting out of one yet?

Suicide doors on the rear doors would look awesome.

I think Lambo door are cool but, The xb is a 4 dr. and If i was a judge at a show and i had to judge 2 XBs with every thing the same except the doors> one had Lambo doors and the other had rear suicide doors I would give the XB with the rear suicide door more points becuase I know that those lambo doors are basicly bolted on and you can buy thema s a kit, were as I know for sure that you can not buy a kit that bolts on to make you read doors open backward. It takes more time to do than the lambo doors. Plus I really think labo door belong on 2 dr cars.

Speaking of the pocket doors posted above: Have you ever seen them on a car? There used to be a production car that used them. It was all aluminum and I think it was made by Kaiser, around the 50's or 60's. I saw one on display at the SAE show in Detroit a few years back.

Here it is (and you thought I was making this stuff up) Guess it has to be on a vert to look right. It's a 1954 Kaiser Darrin

Just 435 were built.

Now THAT'S different. 50 years later and no one has done it again.
