Custom box inspiration- 56k friendly I think!
If you are like me, I like looking at different styles of sub boxes for inspiration. I have had the priveledge of working on all 3 of these 04 scions. A lot of sanding, a lot of vinyl stretching and most of all cussing. feel free to imitate, borrow a couple of ideas and I will try to answer any questions as they come up. Enjoy!

well, the gear is what it is and the labor for those boxes and custom stuff is 65/hour and they usually ran around 20-30 hours on and off over a week or 2. They really are not as complicated as you think. Well, the first one was!
as you progress in doing this stuff, you get to know all kinds of small tricks that turn out very custom looking. I had the opportunity to learn from the best!
The best tip I can give out is that when you build a box, make finish panels for the sides and front to cover up any gaps, holes left where the box could not fill it in. Most of them are pressure fit and pop out so you can remove the box for maintenance.

that is a 25 farad cap in the middle of the last one. In front of the rear seat, there is a slot in the box where the cap slid right into place. That way we could vinyl the top and into the hole you see.
the top one does not swing out. The cool thing about that is that there is a led above the plexi that when lit, it turns the whole plexi blue.
