i am currently running tein ss susp. on my xb. the front seems to be making sqeaking noises when i hit blemishes in the road, anyone know why?

did you remove the stock spring covers that wrap around the coil and put them on the new springs? Did the new springs come with new covers for the coils? Sometimes the coils can be too close and squeak when they touch.

not to sure. i think the teins came with a new one. i am goin to take a look at it closer this weekend. thanks for the reply.

no problem! :D

Check the outsides of the springs in front where the springs sit in the perch.
Therre is a little lip that sticks up on the outside of the strut.Some peolle have had problems with the coil rubbing in this spot.

I have similar problems with my tein s-tech on my right front side . It feels like when u roll around ur bed and hair the springs.
