Default auto to manual swap

i'm interested in doing a auto to manual swap. I was just wondering if anyone else has done this, and how much it cost.

it is very easy, take your xa, and trade it in, then buy a manual transmission xa with that.

swapping a tranny is no small feat, it will take alot of work.

you can ask 318_tc, he swapped his auto tranny for a manual on his tc.

I agree wtih draxcaliber. It will cost you about $3000 to do the job.. so mine as well get a manual xA after you trade it in.. waay too much unnecessary work.

yeah, looking at the list of mods to your car, it shouldn't be too hard to restore your car to stock, trade it in, and put all those things on a manual transmission xa.

i cant imagine the parts list being too much different for the tC
here you go...

for the tC, the manual transaxle cost $1800 from the dealership. Its pretty obvious to see that the swap is not worth it, and you should just trade in for a stick.
