From what we have been told the body kits are going to be ready at time of launch for the vehicle. Most but not all will be ready for release then.
No worries Chris no thunder to steal, just providing info to everyone.

Did you see the Optimize flyer for the body kit? Turns out its a lip kit :tap: ...
bryoninscion 04-30-2007, 07:02 PM Yes, it is a direct bolt on lip kit. They are saying the installation will be fast, easy and painless. You know the kits will shop up unpainted too, right?

Definately, but it will totaly add for looks on the xb. I think the lip kit is going to be a must have item after seeing it without a lip kit from the start.

Thanks for the info Bryan. Im assuming the newly designed fenders, headlamp assemblies and bumpers will bolt on. It looks like the Japan 08 bB hood is the same as current us xb. very exciting stuff for current xb owners still wanting to hold on to their rides and mod it up to a true jdm style.
Jedric 05-01-2007, 10:10 AM Bryan stop posting this stuff...you are taunting me! /wrists for having to wait until the end of May...

I don't think anything from the 2008 bB will bolt onto the 2008 xB. They are totally unrelated vehicles. The bb is as small or smaller than the 1st-gen. xB.

dudehitt 05-01-2007, 02:38 PM nah, that's a Chinese CoolBear made by Great Wall Motors. It looks like the 1st-gen xB with the 2008 bB front end. That great wall motors is pretty interesting. If you look at their trucks they have copies of both Toyotas and Nissans, and it looks like at least 2 or 3 generations. I saw a Great Wall Deer when I was in Abu Dhabi so they do export them. Maybe you could find someone to import the CoolBear for you.

It was interesting, but not as cool as some of the other places I've been. I'll try to get some pics up in the next couple days.
