Patience is a virtue! I had to wait 3 months till I got mine and that's ONLY because I got my lazy butt up early and went to Walmart till they opened up. They had 6 Wiis behind the counter and of course I HAD to buy one...

How ridiculous that one still can't get a Wii.

I waited in front of Costco for 5 hours to get ours, back when they first came out. We also had to resort to purchasing an extra Wiimote via eBay as we could only find numchucks (sp?) in the stores.

I got lucky! I was able to get my Wii at Costco. Then it wasn't as fun as I thought so I turned around and sold it on Craigslist for a $150 profit! ahahaha I know I'm a jerk!

Lol the best time to get a Wii is right before they have a sale.
Usually they will put out an add with them in there.. If it shows up in the add, get there early in the morning because they most likely will have them.
Also, it doesnt hurt to have a man on the inside..
Out here in Missouri, we pretty much get them all the time now. Especially in Kirksville. They almost always have them instock because its a college town.

I've had mine for about 3 months. Also purchased a few games. It's alright. Nothing mind blowing. PS 3 is much better. I guess just keep your nose to the ground. However, whatever you do don't pay more than retail on sites like Ebay.

Peace

Friday the woodinville costco had 2 pallets.
Best Buy had them this morning. We sold out in 10min though.
I have seen them numerous times at Redmond Target and a couple times at Redmond Fred Meyer.

They are out there.
Target and Costco are your best bet.
Take my word for it. I work there. Best Buy NEVER gets them in.

It's funny, I was at Game Stop (or one of those places) and they said they couldn't keep the Wii in stock. I didn't know they were only $250. I want one!

I asked if they had a waiting list, and they said no; first come, first serve. And if they were going to have a waiting list, it'd extend till Christmas at this point!

Just about every major store here in Va. Beach/Norfolk area has multiple wii's. Plus it pays to have the Navy Exchange(low cost and no tax) gotta love it.

Wow that's impressive... no one in the PDX area carries them for more than 10 minutes.

The big problem with these is that Nintendo dropships them to retailers. They almost never go through a DC or warehouse. For Best Buy in my district we don't even know when they're coming usually. A fedex truck shows up all of a sudden with a box of them. The only time we know we have them coming is when they're on ad, then we usually get them a night or 2 before the ad drop.

Ah. At the Bellevue Best Buy we get them on a regular truck from the DC. Its been that way for a couple months here. We just don't receive them but every 6 weeks or so, to hold for an ad.
