lol ok so i went to trade my car in for an s2000 today (i have a tc) and the guy asked me if i had an SE model i was like huh? and hes like yeah we just sold an SE tC with the bigger motor and rims, i was like they only make 1 motor, and he told me he used to work at toyota and that my tc had the corolla engine in it, then he went on to tell me that the corolla came with 2 diff motors, the regular one and the one for the corolla s, i was like ok im guna go now, ha just thought u guys might get a kick outta this

haha i did, i was like well mines not an "SE" but can you tell me more about it??? ha the s2k was a 2001 dark grey, red leather with 65k, i was trying to get a straight up trade, my tc is an 06 5spd with 22k, u think its worth it if i can get it for my car plus $1000?

Wow, what a dummy, those seem like alot of miles, but the s2000 is a well made machine so you should be fine.

 

Yeah the Honda s2000 BMW Z is nice too and I'm sure thats more expensive.

 

Bigger motor and rims? He must be talking about the RS1, I dunno. Was it a used tC? Maybe someone brought it in as a trade in and conned the conmen, lol.

 

the RS1.0 didn't have any bigger motor.

the only confusion i see is the newer exhaust manifold design on the '07...... though it would be funny that he thought an '07 was a special edition... lol

And, FWIW, it's the Camry engine, not the Corolla...
