Something to watch out for if you've done a retro or angels.
If you've done any mods to your factory headlights, you might wanna look out for this:
Well this last winter was hard on one of my lights, I think the cold took out the seal and one started fogging up. I kept putting it off to wait for a nice day...
So I took it out yesterday, baked it, and noticed what looked like a hazy water spot. After buffing the clear cover with just water and a bit of dish soap it came out but suddenly the whole area around it was hazy.
Long story short, theres some sort of fragile coating sprayed on the inside of the lense. I think its a UV protectant. I ended up having to buff the whole lense using scratch removing polish, then claybar, then a finishing polish to get it crystal clear again.
If you get any fogging, fix it IMMEDIATELY unless you want an hour of buffing.
Now I'm just wondering if its going to yellow after another year in the sun...
