I'm confused on what wheels to get. Alloy, chrome??? Help me, I am a mom with 2 teenage girls and don't want "spinners"!!! Any suggestions or pictures would be helpful and appreciated. Want my BCP to look great but not tacky! Had it only 11 days and love it. Thanks.

What are you looking for? Something in the stock 15" size or going 16"-18" size? I would go with alloy over chrome. You dont want to add more dead weight to the car with a big chrome wheel.

Yeah, what he said. It all depends on what you are looking for and what your boundries are. Size will affect ride quality and where you will be able to drive, taller "rims" equal shorter sidewall on the tire which will make them ride rougher and they [tires & wheels] will be easier to damage. Also, generally speaking, 17, 18 wheels will cost more than 15, 16" wheels. The tires for 17", 18", 19" wheels will be more expensive too. Generally speaking, the taller the wheel, the more expensive.
Taller wheels sometimes cause fuel ecomony to drop as well.

All in all, there are many factors to consider.

comfort,
personal taste (bling vs. tuner vs. whatever other trends and styles there are out there) :?

I like the Adr's. Nice and clean. I've seen the carbonfiber ones in person and i was disapponited in them, as I was looking for them too.

from the sample pics you posted, I gather that you are looking for a dark,bronze or gray centered wheel?? if so what size are you looking for 17's, 18's?? for comfort and econmy, I would suggest 17's wheels. We definetly need more info from ya to give you a better recomendation.

 

Go to www.tirerack.com and look at what they have to offer. They can even drop-ship the wheels and/or tires to a local shop to install them if you want. I'm very happy with my experience.

 

It's sort of like asking strangers what you should name your children.

Wheels are a matter of personal taste (or lack of it). There are a lot of sources on line to look at wheels. And you can browse the registry here to see if someone else has wheels on their xB you like.

Just don't fall in love with something that won't fit your car.

I will reccomend a wheel, but that is something you need to decide on. I do not know you at all, and that is a factor in choosing a wheel tire combo. But knowing your a mom with kids I think I have an idea. Nothing over the top but classy
