ok ok. so we all know NST is the best when it comes to product quality and unequal customer service! and now that they offer a new companys, called DME (design motorsports engineering) , parts they have gotten an even better selection of top notch parts!

www.nonstoptuning.com everyone!

last saturday i installed the front strut bar which took literally 2 minutes (how to will come beginning of next week for front and rear), and the rear took maybe 10-15 (i had to remove the rear strut bar i had prior). and let me just say with the brushed black finish on the bars and the metalic ends they look amazing. and the DME logo is ghosted into the bar for a nice subtle addition to the quality finish.

here is a little description from NST's website:

DME multi-sided CAD designed strut reinforcement braces are precision engineered to minimize chassis flex and offer a visually unique appearance. A significant amount of engineering has gone into the design of the DME center shaft. The bar is manufactured of extruded aluminum with reinforcement ridges for maximum strength. Seven of the eight sides are sand blasted, leaving the top of the brace polished, and finally, finished off with a black anodize. End plates are mild steel pieces with a textured chrome finish to resist corrosion and to visually enhance the engine bay.

and another little description

SPECS AND BENEFITS:
• Unique geometrically engineered ten point center shaft
• 100% steel end plates for strenght and durability
• Each brace engineered and tested for a perfect fit
• Reinforces the chassis without adding unnecessary weigh

they are a nice addition to anyone lookin to modify their car and can be baught here for a VERY nice price (lower the MSRP) :D

and also just to let everyone know pictures and the walkthrough for both front and rear will come as soon as i get the pics from my friend, im hoping monday at the latest (he has HIN this weekend so he will be busy and i dont get home till thursday).

so everyone keep an eye on this thread!!! you wont be sorry!

these are not made by NST, they are made by DME.

its a new company trying to make a break through, and so far they have been doing good.

He says in his first post that these are made by DME. Yes they are a new company and they have done well by partnering with NST to sell their stuff. Everyone around here trusts NST and will more likely use a product that is endorsed/sold/tested by NST. Quit crying about it.

NST FTW

the price listed on NSTs website is lower then MSRP, and no its a 2 point bar, i should have pics up of the finished front and rear in a day or two, and the walk through early next week.

DME strut bars and radiator panels look alot like Greddy's. Some of DME's bars also look alot like Cusco's. So I'd expect DME's tC strut bars to look like Greddy's bars with different colors. DME's radiator panel looks like a 1-piece version of Greddy's LOL.
I'm not trashing on DME or their products. Its just an observation me and others have made.

davedavetC
04-26-2007, 06:33 PM
they were similar to greddy but the DME bars are much lighter and i honestly want to say sturdier, the welds on the DME bars look to be a lot stronger then the Greddy bars (i would know i had both and switched to DME)

I received and installed both bars last night. Super fast shipping!

They fit absolutely perfect and they did stiffen up the chassis quite a bit. I may notice more than others though since I have stiff coilovers and sway bars. They also look very nice and they are super duper light.

My only complaint is that I thought the rear bar was a 3-point bar from the pictures. It would be nice if there was another mounting point in the trunk.

NonStopTuning

Thank you for the kind words tcengel, we appreciate it. Yes, the rear brace is a two point brace, but it is very sturdy while being very lightweight. Everyone who has ordered these pieces has always had great things to say about them.

Post some pics if/when you have a chance!
