SquallLHeart 04-25-2007, 12:27 AM it'll be fine.
Scionizer07 04-25-2007, 12:29 AM Yes, its the same... Very easy to do.
Night-Life 04-25-2007, 01:30 AM Yeah, i seen the diy's looks pretty easy, before i started pluggin stuff i wanted to make sure it would be fine. another thing is when i connect the swi-ps am i just taping into wires or do i have to actually cut some wires.
Phanon_TC 04-25-2007, 04:36 AM 07 should be the same as 06
i taped into my wires.. soldered the resistor though
Night-Life 04-25-2007, 10:52 AM aight thats good, i dont have to cut any brand new wires, lol.
SirPhobos1 04-25-2007, 11:19 AM I soldered the leads of the resistor onto a bigger gauge wire that i could use to tap into it's locations. All's well here, about 9 months later.
Night-Life 04-25-2007, 11:33 AM Now, the plug where im going to tap into the leads, where the hell is that plug i was looking for it and couldnt find it. is it under the steering wheel or in the radio compartment. been looking for for diy's but can't find where it's at
Night-Life 04-26-2007, 01:58 AM The plug that im going to be tapping into, where can i find that at.
SirPhobos1 04-26-2007, 02:38 AM I'm not sure what you're talking about...
gizmokat 04-26-2007, 03:19 AM The white wire goes to one of the wires on the unused harness behind the HU. There are the 2 that plug into the head unit, and then there's the extra one.
On the extra one, on one side will be a pink orange and green wire. These are the ones you will need to use.
There should have been a yellow piece of paper that gives you the website for the scion instructions. Just follow those, they tell you exactly what you need to do.
I'm sure there was another thread about this somewhere...

Phanon_TC 04-27-2007, 12:32 AM that plug is where the factory hu harness is at
its the only one with 20pin config on it
gizmokat 04-27-2007, 02:40 AM The white wire goes to one of the wires on the unused harness behind the HU. There are the 2 that plug into the head unit, and then there's the extra one.
... what else do you want me to say????
I'll take a pic in a minute, I have to fix mine anyway.
