Default The tC is SOLD....

Well.... we just have to do a little paperwork and the tC is out of my hands and into the hands of a fine young lady here in the Portland Area.... Here name is Amanda and she and her guy are members of Xccessive Speedz!

So, not only does the car stay around, but it stays with the club! It was a great twist of fate and I'm happy with who it's going to and that it stays in the XS family....

Wish her luck, and look forward to her or her guy coming onto SL to meet the peeps...

Wish me luck in letting the ride go.... a lot of time, work, and a bit of cash went into that baby...

I still got a box..... I still do.....

He's lying. He still has it.

Congratulations on the sale, Tim. I'm sure the tC is in good hands.

Ahh you told me it was in the works but I still didn't believe it. Congrats!! You put together a wonderful car and have a ton of willpower to be able to let it go. Sad to see you leave the SL community- not only because of our all-day installs, but also for the laughs!

Is Amanda the one who came to the March Reign event with her bf and won the Best Female Owned?

Yep... that's her...

It was not parted out... no way that'd happen... and I sold it, as my wife and I are starting the process of getting rid of all our larger assets to prepare to do international non-profit work.... next comes the motorcycle.... Ultimately, even the house will not stay in our hands...

Tim, I'm sad to see it go, but I am sure it's what is best for you. Hope to see you around.

best of luck to tim in the future and the new owner of his tc.

u better still show up to things tim but glad to see that you got rid of it..there comes a time in a cars life where it is so super custom that it takes the right person to want it... and most of the time the really good cars get parted out or worse wrecked..

Got Rid of it.... good terminology.... I'm very glad to be paying off my wife's school, be soon totally out of school/toy debt, and driving my '71 superbeetle around...

...in pursuit of my austin mini with B series conversion! (My pipedream) Now, THAT, I'll let sit in storage while I'm gone... LoL...

I'll be around... it'll be nice to be out of the drama and a simple scion owner again... there's a niceness to that idea... and it's really refreshing to drive a beetle around, as I get more smiles, than the image of the import kid when I'm in the monster tC.

sorry to see it go. congrats to her but i could never buy a car thats already done up.

Id be afraid to see what crap people would give me who saw me just buy a car already done up. I hope she will do some mods to it of her own and make it her own unique style.

Beautiful car none the less

Thanks Tim for one last look at her with you on the mic...and it was bittersweet seeing them drive off in it. But I can't wait till they get signed up here and start showing it. She's a great person and she seems so excited! I can't wait to see the new sound system and subs that she puts in.

And as for you...I hope and expect to see you and Dennis still coming to Scion events! Also, I miss Janine so bring her next time please

really i dont see anything wrong with buying an already built car...just as long as the person doesnt say that they did it all. and this is personal preferance but if your going to buy a built car spend a bit of coin and make it your own, maybe new wheels, new vinyl if that is needed, just change up some of the lighting etc.. i know if i were to ever venture back into the nissan world and i would get a swapped 240 and save a TON of hasstle and money.

I totally agree... As long as they don't claim it is there car & that they did all the work, then there isn't any problems in my book

Nah.... she won her first trophy with the car last night at ScionBackstage... she's building her own collection!

And the cost she saved by buying a built car.... insane.
