Recent Buddy Club 2 Owners Speak UP!
Ok I know a lot of us recently received our BC2 body kits and I wanted to know what you think so far.
I bought mine from KKO and I can tell you that my front bumper was going to need a lot of work, The right side had a big gap near the headlight and it was going to need all custom brackets. The body shop I use which does awesome work and is fair in price was gonna charge me like a grand for the front bumper. This include refiberglassing all the gaps, and custom brackets through out. Instead I decided to customize my existing Kaminari front bumper which was cheaper to do.
Side skirts were not of equal length but was able to have them re fiberglassed and molded to the original side skirts. They Look pretty good and are sturdy! I didn't buy the rear since I already have the Kaminari which looks better. So tell me how your kits fit, dont fit, or what youv'e done to make it work.

BC2 kits require quite a bit of finesse to get them to fit on the tC, and then quite a bit more work to get them to look good. I don't have this kit, but I've spent a lot of time working on a tC that does. Depending on where it is sagging, bulging, or otherwise leaving an unsightly gap, you will need to fab some brackets up or move some stock parts near the headlights around.
Nothings wrong with the Kaminari kit just that it is so popular it is hard to stand out from the other joes at car shows. What I wound up doing is that I took the lip of the front bumper and cut and re fiberglassed it so that it aligned/flush with the top of the bumper. It looks sweet and if I dare say, "This is what the design should of been the first time around
" Hope Kaminari don't see this.
I'll try to post pics tomorrow. By the way the Kaminari kit I have is one of the first ones that they made that was in fiberglass. And yes its a real Kaminari kit as they have their official stamp in color on the inside of the kit. Pretty slick cause I don't have a clue how they pulled it off.
