Default Did my car even get lower?

Ok this has been bugging me and i know its stupid. But i can't tell that my car is lowered. I have had the hotchkis lowering springs installed for about a good 2 weeks now and i really cant tell that its lowered (yea i know its stupid) . Like every other tc i see on the road looks to be as low as mine, and i doubt that every one of them have lowering springs installed ... Im thinkin that im just too used to the tc that my mind is just playin tricks on me haha.

im sorry if this post annoys some of u, but i just wanted to get it out there since it was bothering the heck out of me

Wow, my TRD is lower... My exhaust even scrapes on uneven roads or over big bumps. Maybe you got some janked springs..

Oh yeah and my springs only went on two nights ago so they haven't even settled yet. With 2 people in the trunk, the tires more than make it to the top of the wheel well

Just give the springs some time, it'll take a few months before they are fully settled. When i had my TRDs, every week they would get a little lower for 5 or 6 months.

^^ that's not normal unless the install was really that bad.

springs normally settle in a week of daily driving..

they would only get lower if the springs are crap and what they're doing is sagging.

Here are mine and they are only TuRD springs!! Hard to tell the wheel gap but you can easily see the difference under the car. Before the drop... 3 fingers easily between tire and top of fender. After drop... two fingers barely fit. My floor jack doesn't fit under the car anymore, i have to get a smaller profiled one.

Oh and the pic is taken only 24 hours after install, so i expect more drop too!!

And my friends and i installed the springs at the auto garage at my friends high school... i dont think we messed up the install since we followed the instructions thoroughly, and the auto shop teacher was helping us
