2008 tc release date
Hi SL,
Sorry if this was discussed elsewhere, but I had no luck finding it. When will the 2008 tC's start hitting lots? I'm very ready for a test drive :D

Hi,
The 2007 will drive the same way as the 2008. There is a change in the head lights and tail lights, and side air bags and iPod connectivity will be standard on the '08 tC. We don't have a price yet. My RM tells me the '08 tC may come with our next allocation. (We get them twice a month. If they do get allocated with the April 30th group, they'll hit the lots by the end of May.) Your dealership may or may not have one to test drive, depending on orders taken, as they're allocated, and not stocked. Go drive an '07, put in an order for an '08, and be the "first on your block" to have the 08 tC!
Good luck!
Nancy

make sure you pick a dealership that sales alot of scions. i don't know if it's still the same, but when i got mine; i put in an order at one dealership, but they didn't get in alot of tCs because the didn't sale as many as other dealership. however, KM Scion wer no. 3 in the state for scions selling, so when they got scions they got more than the first dealer that i went to did.
You don't "sales alot of scions", someone may "sell" a lot of Scions... You're 25 years old, you should have probably learned this somewhere along the way by now. I know this isn't www.grammerlife.com, but it makes it easier to read the forums and we look better for it if we at least try to sound intelligent.

^^wow thanks buddy. yeah i am 25, and i have learned but i typed it quick and didn't think about rereading it. you got the point right. i am intelligent, but if it makes you feel smarter then by golly flame my spelling/grammar on. it's not very often that i make mistakes or fail to reread my post, and that won't change.

We all just need to RELAX!!
Back on topic; I would say the middle to the end of June is when the 'o8 tCs start hitting the lots. (That's when they have come out the previous 2 years.) If you're itchin' for one, I would still go down to the dealership and put down a deposit on one. That shows that you're serious about purchasing a tC and they will accommodate you better.
OK, I really don't have any problems, I have seen a lot of mush-mouth posts as of late and that usually is the sign that a forum is on the downslopes. I would hate to see this forum change for the worse (think Honda-Tech). I really wasn't trying to be a d1ck, I was just trying to raise awareness, thats all.
Anywho... 07 > 08 IMO...

I have to agree, and coincidentally, I did the same thing today on another thread.
It's just a HUGE PITA to try and read posts when people can't take the time to write like educated, thinking people.
Yeah, some threads ask for this type of 'net talk, and that's fine, but in general, it SO MUCH easier to read and enjoy threads when folks make some effort.

Don't get me wrong, I understand what you guys are talking about. I hate trying to read the "ebonically challenged" threads/posts sometimes. Some of those are a doozy!
And then having to proceed to urbandictionary.com for the translation is no fun. :D
