Sure, you can lower your vehicle, but then you put a load on the strut and you will want to change them too so you don't get a bouncy ride. Does anyone out there know how you determine which length strut to get by the amount the vehicle has been lowered?

The length of the struts in front usually stay the same . If you have air ride or lower the rear two inches or more you could get shorter shocks for the rear. Some guys with air ride run shorter shocks in the rear so that they can go down lower. Performance struts are valved diferently and or have heavier oil in them. But I've seen some coil-overs that come in different lengths.
