Well this thread is to see how many people would be intersted in the zpi's solution for the f/i blow by. You can find very detailed information on this here: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=110540

and here: http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17914

Quick points:

- engines unburned vapors and oil is routed into the intake and intake manifold where the vacume from the engine breathing air sucks that stuff back into the engine to be burned up.
- With f/i the because the air is condensed there is no vacume to suck those gases out. Not only that but the pressurised air actually pushes against the gases that are suppose to be going into the intake. BAD
- Also the vapors coat your intake manifold. BAD. this can be solved with filter or catch cans however emission are now illigal and you still dont have vacume to suck the gases out. (my current setup)
- A way for this to be solved can be done by making a bung in your exhaust and routing the vapors there and the exhaust vacume will suck out the gases. Not bad but complex and still wont pass emissions.

ZPI has offered to make a solution to this problem with catch cans and some sort of vacume that can also routine into your intake. Clean air, no boost pushing on the pcv and not letting vapors to exit, still emmissions legal if routed into your intake I belive.

However they wanted to see how many people would be intrested in this before offering this solution. So lets see :

4 Rhythmnsmoke
5 Peteyd
6 Reign
7 Kaeon
8 deep2k
9 stock
10 Lyracon
11Motorsport_TC
12 Kevshek

Btw anything that doesnt seem to make sense or anyone who wants to add something please tell me and I will correct/add.

A one stop package would be excellent. It would be nice for the NA guys as well.

Both lines going into a baffled catch can and dumping back into the intake. Even the greddy ones only have 2 ports...in and out. 3 ports would look better than a T in line somewhere.

I presume the tap would have to be at a 45 degree angle so as to avoid possibly forcing air back into the valve cover if at a 90....venturi effect thing. Under boost, alot of air is being sucked in. Maybe even a check valve at the catch can exit.

I don't want much

I still dont understand fully this whole concept.
If this is true how are alot of turbo cars still running?
Is this just another mod to do for LONG LONG LONG engine life.
I mean, can you just some how attach an oil catch can?
Like those greddy ones?
Sorry, but i am still confused more on location.

well def dont expect it to be done the next day if they decide that this is worth making. But its a smaller item I mean I dont know as much as others do about making one of those on here but it def seems easier then mounts and turbo so I dont think itll take as long but just opinion youd have to ask zpi for a more precise time.

I would be interested in this also but I was wondering how the TRD supercharger deals with this?? I wonder if this would be maybe an even better upgrade for the supercharger people since their centrifugal superchargers are getting coated with oil probably. Anyways I would love to hear more details like will this actually require a cut into the exhaust??

supercharger would benfit as well as turbo. Well hopefulyl no exhaust cut because extra cut and then no emmissions passes.
